The Toronto Argonauts were looking to rebrand going into the 100th anniversary year of the CFL, the Canadian Football League.
Wanting to pay respect to it's long history, a gritty nautical theme was used as the 'Argonauts' name was taken from the Greek mythology legend 'Jason and the Argonauts', a group of heroes who set sail aboard the ship Argo.
